Overview

We seek a Legal & Compliance Specialist to support our legal and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to data protection regulations (GDPR), corporate compliance standards, and procurement laws. This role also involves reviewing learning materials for compliance accuracy and collaborating with our external legal firm to ensure regulatory alignment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in compliance law, regulatory research, and procurement regulations and is comfortable working in a dynamic eLearning environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company-wide compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws.
• Conduct legal reviews of learning materials, ensuring training content aligns with industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Monitor corporate compliance policies and provide guidance to internal teams on best practices.
• Stay up to date with global compliance laws affecting eLearning, corporate governance, and data protection.
• Conduct legal research to support the development of compliance training programs.
• Review and advise on contracts, vendor agreements, and procurement-related legal matters.
• Support the company’s participation in public and private procurement processes, ensuring compliance with procurement laws.
• Collaborate with our external legal firm, assisting in legal inquiries, contract negotiations, and regulatory matters.
• Assist in internal audits and risk assessments related to legal and compliance issues.
• Provide legal training and compliance awareness sessions for internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Compliance, Business Law, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within corporate or educational sectors.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection regulations.
• Experience with corporate compliance, risk management, and legal research.
• Familiarity with procurement law is a strong plus.
• Ability to review and assess contracts and legal documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with external legal firms or legal advisory services.
